Parsley: is the world’s most popular culinary herb. Parsley is one of the world’s seven most potent disease-fighting spices. It is a nutrient powerhouse containing high levels of beta carotene, vitamin B12, folate, chlorophyll, calcium, more vitamin C than citrus fruits, and just about all other known nutrients. Open Face Sandwiches By The Canadian Living Test Kitchen
Ingredients:
1 loaf bread (unsliced)
1/2lb cream cheese (or goats cheese)
1/4 cup August’s Harvest Roasted Red Pepper Garlic Sauce
4 tsp finely chopped parsley
Preparation:
1. Slice loaf lengthwise into slices 3/8 inch thick, about 8 slices. Set aside 4 slices for other use.
2. In bowl, cream together cheese with Red Pepper Sauce until consistency allows for easy spreading. Spread about 1/4 cup of the mixture onto each of the 4 bread slices, right to edges.
3. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Refrigerate until serving time.
